What is Puggle?
Puggle is an expense tracker for iPhone. Import PDF statements or enter transactions manually, review categories, and explore spending without connecting your bank account.
Which statements can I import?
Use an original, text-based PDF downloaded from your bank. Compatibility depends on the statement’s layout, product, and region. Puggle does not guarantee every bank or every statement format.
Scans, photographs, and image-only PDFs are not supported by the text importer. Try one statement first, compare the results with your PDF, and review the transactions before saving.
Does Puggle connect to my bank?
No bank connection is required. You download the statement yourself and import it into Puggle. New transactions are not synced automatically.
Where does my financial data go?
Statement processing and transaction storage happen on your device. Puggle does not upload your financial records to a processing server. Optional purchases are handled through Apple and RevenueCat. Read the privacy details.
Is Puggle free?
The free plan includes three statement imports per month. Optional Pro access unlocks unlimited imports. See the app’s purchase screen for current prices and available options in your region.
Can I edit transactions?
Yes. Review imported transactions before confirming, and use History to edit saved transactions. You can also enter a transaction manually.
Will my records survive deleting the app?
Local records can be lost when you delete the app. Puggle does not provide server-side recovery of your financial data. Keep your original statements.
Something didn’t import correctly. What should I do?
Check that the PDF contains selectable text. Compare any extracted rows with the original statement and correct errors before saving. Contact supportpuggle@gmail.com with the bank, statement type, and a description of the problem. Please don’t email account numbers or an unredacted statement.
